Rhythm interactive visit to PBS
Today Johnny from Rhythm interactive came to panmure bridge school to teach us how to play beats on some very special african drums. We were learning that " Together we can make a change ". LS2 was helping the New Entrance (Juniors) that were new to our school and because they didn't experience this before. We were watching Johnny play the drums first then we had to try to copy what he was doing or give the drumming a go. I would like to say thank you to him for coming to Panmure bridge school, and teaching us and showing us how to use these drums. What i liked learning about when we were playing the drums and leaning different beat's/ pattern/ rhythm. Johnny was play the Djembe Drum and we were playing the other drums. Also I would like to say thank to him for donating 7 drums to our school.

Different between Reading and Maths inference DLO
This week for maths we had to make a DLO about maths inference. I was working with Sela, I thought that i would do a reading DLO about reading and maths inference to see what were different about the reading and maths DLO about Inferencing. I was doing the reading inference DLO,and Sela was doing some of the maths DLO. I liked learning about this because some of it we did not know but then Mrs Anderson showed us what we had to do for maths inference. I asked Mrs Anderson if i could do a reading one to see what the different where between the reading and maths inference DLOS.
Tech/ Designing a Clock
This week at tech i was doing something else then the other people that are in my tech group. I was playing with the 3D printer and the laser cutter I was making Key rings for some teachers and one of my friends,I made Mrs Kirkpatrick, Mrs Anderson, Mr Grundy & Holy one and i had made myself one. We were making board games i was making something else to what the other people that are in my tech group. I was making a clock for my dad because my last rotation group i made my mum the piano. The clock i am making for my dad is a monster logo clock i have the image that i was using to draw my dads clock so next week i was able to start making the clock that i had designed with Mrs Ferguson.

Ballet/ Black Swan & White Swan
Yesterday we were lucky enough to have Chloe, who is a Dance Educator from the Royal New Zealand Ballet, come to our school to teach us the 'Black swan, White swan' dance sequence. This dance was based on the famous ballet of "Swan Lake". We began with a warm up to make sure our muscles were ready for the dance movements. Most of the movements were contemporary ballet moves. I really enjoyed learning the ballet moves with Chloe and learning the dance sequence, it was a lot of fun. I would like to say thank you to Chloe for this opportunity and to Mrs Jones who organized this for us.

Waltzing Matilda
We unpacked the litercy device and languages in Banjo Paterson's poem Waltzing Matilda. We were learning about what Waltzing Matilda poem about it is about a swagman looking for a job so that he could get some shooter. He was champing by a billabong under a tree. We wrote what we thought were the three main ideas that were in the poem. Then we wrote a summary about the poem. The poem was about the swagman who jumped in a water whole because he didn't won't to go to pirson because he might have not known what it was like.

Tech
This week at tech we were starting our Third rotations we were with Mrs Ferguson, We were drawing on paper how to design a game in the 3D printer on what we like and what are our favorite game was. We were learning about what kinds of games that we like to play.

Maths Vocabulary
This week Mrs Anderson was asking us types of ways to say Hello, we were also learning about plane, Plane does not mean that it carries passengers ,it means a flat surface on which a straight line joining any two points on it would wholly lie. Math Vocabulary because some people in our class do not know what to do for Math Vocabulary. It is important that students are able to bounce ideas off of each other and discuss how they understand there maths words. I was working with Taheesha for our maths vocabulary.

Tech
This week we were with Mrs Ferguson for tech we were learning how to draw a 3 dimensional shape. Then we were shading our colors. I was using the color purple because it was Mrs Ferguson fraveront color, i was going to do yellow but Mrs Ferguson color she does not like is yellow because it is the opposite of purple. We were finishing of our google slide of games that we made last week. We were finding games that make us and other people think. This is a example Ancient Chinese Classic Territory game this game make people think about what they are going to do.

How to be cyber safety
I was making this DLO for one of my care awards. This DLO explains that kids should not do things that they are not allowed to do. It also show that kids should tell someone if something bad happens to you so they can help you.
Literacy Device
For reading we were working by our selves but i was working with Taheesha because this is her first week at panmure bridge school. I was helping her with her work because she is not been tested on what group she is in. I was helping her with explaining what we are doing and the meaning of the words. Mrs Anderson gave a challenge our challenge was to make our google Doc in to a google drawing.
